Mestalla has once again hosted a special blood donation day as a result of the collaboration between Valencia CF, through the VCF Foundation, and the Centro de Transfusión de la Comunitat Valenciana.
This time there were more than 500 Valencianistas who gave blood in the VIP Box at Mestalla, between 09:30 and 19:30h. In return, each of them received a ticket for the Valencia CF - Real Valladolid CF match.
It should be noted that the Club and the Center have been collaborating since 2001, with 30 blood donations held at Mestalla (including the one on Tuesday, April 4), which have resulted in nearly 15,000 donors, of which more than 4,200 have been new donors.
In this sense, Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation wanted to reinforce, with the signing of an agreement, their commitment to the Transfusion Center of the Valencian Community (CTSCV) to continue organizing and promoting blood donations annually at Mestalla.
Precisely, taking advantage of the special blood donation day, the Juan Cruz Sol Hall hosted the signing of the agreement, which was attended by the president of Valencia CF, Layhoon Chan, the director of the VCF Foundation, Inmaculada Ibáñez, and the president of the Association of Blood Donors of the Province of Valencia of the CTSCV, Roberto Roig. The three were accompanied by Miguel Ángel Bossio, the Club's social ambassador.
